Funeral piping & memorial services

Honouring a life
with dignity.

The traditional, soulful sound of the Highland bagpipes provides a deeply moving tribute. Whether honouring a veteran, celebrating Scottish heritage or playing a cherished air, our pipers approach every service with dignity, compassion and professional respect.

A thoughtful tribute, tailored with care.

From the first note to the final farewell, we provide a seamless and respectful service, supporting you and your family at every stage.

How we support the service, stage by stage

  1. A black hearse arrives outside a stone church where mourners are gathered

    Stage 1: Arrival of
    the hearse

We welcome the hearse with respectful piping as family and friends gather, setting a tone of dignity and respect at the start of the service.

  2. A piper leads a procession of mourners along a tree-lined path

    Stage 2: Piping the
    cortège

Our pipers lead the hearse and procession into the venue grounds with traditional and solemn music.

  3. Pallbearers carry a coffin topped with flowers up the steps into a church

    Stage 3: Entry into
    the service

A gentle and meaningful tune as the coffin is borne in, creating a poignant and memorable entrance.

  4. A piper plays a lament inside a church beside an altar lit with candles

    Stage 4: Reflection &
    moment of
    remembrance

A quiet lament during the service or committal, allowing time for reflection and personal tribute.

  5. A piper stands among headstones overlooking rolling Lincolnshire countryside

    Stage 5: Graveside
    farewell

Traditional pieces such as The Dark Island, Flowers of the Forest or Going Home, a fitting farewell at the graveside.

  6. Guests in dark clothes talk quietly at an outdoor reception under a garden pergola

    Stage 6: Post-service
    reception

Warm and subtle music as family and friends gather to share memories and celebrate a life well lived.
